The event was attended by deputy general directors, deputy chief engineers for the areas of activity of the NPP, heads of structural divisions of the enterprise and authorized representatives for the integrated management system in the divisions.
Deputy Director General for Quality Alexander Erin voiced the fundamental safety principles of international organizations (IAEA and WANO), the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and regulatory documents of the regulatory body. Issues related to the management system of nuclear power facilities were considered separately, and emphasis was placed on increasing the role of managers in the operation of power units of Belarusian NPP.
The workshop also addressed issues of transforming the enterprise process model, explaining how this would improve the operation of the enterprise management system. Much attention was paid to issues of leadership and safety culture. Answers were given to questions from the audience.
This topic attracted particular interest and discussion among NPP managers after the workshop, which confirms their involvement in order to improve the processes of the enterprise management system.
