The Director General of Belarusian NPP Sergei Bobovich made an opening speech, expressing sincere gratitude to everyone for their participation and the work done in terms of developing scientific and technical support for the country's nuclear industry.
During the working meeting, Deputy Director General for Quality Alexander Erin made a report including issues and existing challenges for further improvement of scientific and technical support for the operation of Belarusian NPP. Proposals for their solution and promising areas of activity were also discussed. Alexander Erin noted the need for continuous scientific monitoring to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency of power units throughout the life cycle of the plant.
The central item on the agenda was the signing of Agreements on scientific and technical cooperation with RUE "BELTEI" and "A. Lykov Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer" of the NAS of Belarus. The agreements enable the parties to combine their efforts to implement projects in scientific and technical support for the operation of Belarusian NPP, create conditions for training, advanced training and internships for the personnel of the parties, and also take joint part in events that contribute to improving the quality of work (services).
The signing of these agreements is a landmark event confirming the strategic focus of Belarusian NPP on developing partnerships with leading scientific and design organizations of Belarus. Interaction with partners guarantees further improvement of the safety, reliability and efficiency of Belarusian NPP, contributing to the sustainable development of the country's energy complex.
