Readiness of the second block is 97%. As part of the milestone programs, planned technological work continues on it. "The power start-up of the unit, its connection to the power system is planned in the first quarter of 2023," the Minister informed.
It will be recalled that that the power start-up is one of the stages of the program for putting the unit into operation. It will be followed by the stage of pilot operation, and only after that – commissioning will occur.
The first power unit of BelNPP is currently operating at nominal capacity. Since its inclusion in the network (November 3, 2020), 10.4 billion kWh of electricity have been generated.
