The word "summer" always causes a number of positive associations. Someone will say that summer is sun, sea, vacation. Someone will remember cottage and beds.
Children will definitely remember the holidays. And adults, thinking about summer, will definitely remember their childhood. Perhaps that is why International Children's Day is celebrated on the first day of summer.
A fun event for the children of the employees of Belarusian NPP was planned to be held on the first day of summer. The pavement drawing competition was to be held at the site near the information center of the nuclear power plant in Ostrovets. However, the bright, sunny weather, at the beginning of the day, became capricious in the evening and the warm summer rain spoiled the "easel" of the contestants. Multi-colored crayons and creative ideas had to be postponed "until better times."
The young talents were able to decorate the sidewalks with their drawings on June 6th. A small area near the information center was filled with noisy children, caring mothers and concentrated fathers. And also, children's songs and bright colors. According to the idea of the arrangers - the primary organization of trade unions of Belarusian NPP and the group of ideological work, the children, without the help of their parents, should submit their work on the topic "SUMMER" to the jury in thirty minutes.
But can creativity be locked up in the word “should”?
First, it is impossible to stop an artist until he finishes his work.
And secondly, who will keep an adult who remembered that he also draws very well with crayons, and from childhood he had unfulfilled creative ideas.
In general, the holiday turned out to be cheerful and bright, both for children and for their parents. Prizes were received by all participants and even one dad.
Each drawing contained summer, the sun, mom, dad, peace and beauty.
Children's vernissage will delight passers-by until the next warm summer rain.
