Awarding the winners, Vladimir Bobrov, Chief Engineer of State Production Association “Belenergo”, noted: “Participation in competitions like this one contributes to an increase in the labor safety standards among employees, the generation of new ideas and methods that can really lead to a decrease in injuries. And the idea of zero injuries should be key for everyone in the energy system."
Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of Belarusian Trade Union of Energy, Gas and Fuel Industry Workers Alexander Zhilko presented diplomas to the winners of the competition and wished the entire team of power engineers to work safely.
Prize places were distributed as follows:
1st place - Dmitry Kulakov, foreman of the insulation and overvoltage protection service of Vitebsk Electric Networks branch, RUE “Vitebskenergo”:, with the idea of “Manufacturing a protective screen”;
2nd place - Andrei Sonko, head of the training and production and information support sector of the Training Center branch, RUE “Grodnoenergo”, with the idea of “Implementation of a throwing saw when performing work on overhead lines”;
3rd place - Evgeny Botko, head of the group for the operation of the production and technical department of RUE "BelNPP", with the idea of "Book of personal obligations".
