On November 19, 2020, an unusual classroom “Atomic class” opened its doors at school No. 3 of the youngest city of Belarus.
The Atomclasses program is an educational initiative of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, which has been implemented since 2011 within the framework of the Rosatom School project in more than 30 schools in Russia. Now this project is also being developed in one of Belarusian schools.
The main idea of the program is to support and develop science and mathematics education at school by creating modern conditions for studying subjects at an advanced level. As well as support for the project and research activities of students, the upbringing of such personality qualities as efficiency, teamwork, respect, responsibility for the result, the desire to be one step ahead.
Representatives of Ostrovets Region Executive Committee, the engineering division of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Atostroyexport" JSC, the state enterprise "Belarusian NPP", the regional organization of the Regional Public Organization "Belaya Rus" came to congratulate the future Kurchatovs and Korolevs.
Also, congratulations and wishes came from students and teachers of "atomic" classes in Russia from Zelenograd, Sosnovy Bor, Rostov-on-Don, Udomlya.
