Despite a rather busy working day, in their free time, construction crews prefer not to sleep in hostels, but organize their leisure time for the benefit of themselves and others. Sports competitions, various competitions, charity events - these and other events are firmly in the schedule of free time of the construction team. Of course, inquisitive young people could not ignore the information center of Belarusian NPP. In order to better know the object to the construction of which they apply their work, their knowledge and skills.
On the evening of August 1, after the end of the working day, more than 100 workers of the student construction team, in the spirit of individual groups, got acquainted with the exposition of the information center. Here, students learned about the purpose of the main buildings and structures of the nuclear power plant, the technical characteristics of the equipment, the principles of the reactor installation, the safety systems of Belarusian NPP.
The issues regarding fundamental differences between Belarusian nuclear power plant and the nuclear plants in Chernobyl and Fukushima were not overlooked.
According to the workers of the construction team, the excursion to the information center of the nuclear power plant was useful and interesting, and the acquired knowledge will certainly be useful in the upcoming training semesters.
