In accordance with the schedule of work at the first power unit of Belarusian NPP, they started loading simulators of fuel assemblies into the reactor. This is one of the most important processes at the stage of preparation of the reactor installation for the cold and hot running.
The fuel assembly simulators are an exact copy of the fuel assemblies, fully replicate their design, but do not contain nuclear fuel. Они They are used instead of standard fuel assemblies during commissioning at the stage of cold and hot running in of the reactor facility.
As of April 25, 2019, about 75 of 163 are already loaded.
