Ostrovets high school students visited the plant again, immersing in the world of nuclear energy and career opportunities

Written by Department of information and public relations

For Ostrovets high school students, Belarusian NPP is more than just an industrial facility; it's an important part of their hometown and a potential future job. As part of their collaboration and career guidance, students from High School No. 1 again made a study tour of the nuclear power plant to learn more about its design, operation, and the opportunities it offers.

At the information center, the students were able to gain an understanding of the role of nuclear energy in the modern world, the history of BelNPP, and its importance to the country's energy security. This enabled them not only to systematize their existing knowledge but also to view the plant in a broader context.

At the training center, students were able to deepen their knowledge of nuclear energy, personnel training, and the operation of a central control center.

An inspiring addition to the visit's program was a conversation with a representative of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant's Human Resources Department. The specialist told the students about the many benefits of working at the plant: opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement, modern equipment, and the contribution each employee makes to this important national cause.
