During the meeting, the main objectives of the upcoming inspection, the experts' methodology, and up-to-date information on the current state of BelNPP production site were discussed in detail.
In his opening remarks, Sergei Bobovich, Director General of BelNPP, emphasized the importance of this event for the plant:
"We greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with experts of this level. We thank Moscow Center representatives for their contribution and look forward to the most productive and open collaboration possible, which will help us strengthen our commitment to safety and security."
Over the course of the week, WANO experts will work on integrated management systems and independent audits, assessing administrative activities at operating organizations.
