The well-deserved awards to 40 winning organizations were presented by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor  Karankevich. In his welcoming speech, Viktor Karankevich noted: "Quality goods are the brand of Belarus and the business card of exports."

He thanked the heads of organizations and work teams for their professionalism, hard work, dedication to their work and high level of responsibility.

Among the organizations included in the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, only two enterprises were awarded the title of laureate of the Government Prize for Quality - RUE "Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant" and UP "Vitebskoblgaz".

Before the official part of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich, accompanied by the Chairperson of the State Standardization Committee of the Republic of Belarus Elena Morgunova, visited the exhibition stands of the organizations that won the Prize. The state enterprise "Belarusian NPP" was the first to open the exhibition.

Deputy Minister of Energy Vladislav Dolgiy took part in the presentation of the stand.

The crystal cup and the winner's diploma in the competition for the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in quality were received from the hands of the Deputy Prime Minister by the Director General of Belarusian NPP Sergei Bobovich and the Deputy Director General for Quality Alexander Erin.

"The quality award is a victory for the entire team of Belarusian NPP. It is the people and the team that are the greatest value for any enterprise. It is especially important and honorable for us to be among the leading enterprises of the country in the field of quality," commented Sergei Bobovich.
