A delegation from Belarusian NPP, consisting of Deputy Director General for Quality Alexander Erin, Head of the Licensing Group Vitaly Dyatlov, Deputy Head of the Nuclear Safety Department Nikita Guts, Deputy Head of the Security Service Valery Yemelyanov, took part in an extended meeting of the Academic Council on June 19, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute. The anniversary event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Gosatomnadzor, STC NRS, BelRAO, the National Academy of Sciences, BSU, BNTU and other organizations related to nuclear energy.
The General Director of JIPNR-Sosny, Andrey Kuzmin, gave a report on the activities and development prospects of the establishment, after which the invited guests of the meeting addressed the institute with welcoming words and congratulations.
Representatives of our delegation conveyed to the jubilee a welcoming address with congratulations and wishes from the Director General of Belarusian NPP Sergei Bobovich, and also presented memorable gifts. In addition, the heads and research staff of the institute who took part in the safety assessment of the Belarusian NPP were awarded badges “For the construction of Belarusian nuclear power plant”.
