The laboratory staff told and showed how the psychophysiological examination of candidates and plant personnel is carried out. As an interactive activity, psychologists conducted game trainings, a social and psychological study with the children. The introduction to the laboratory ended in the psychological relief room.
In the NPP training center, on a full-scale simulator of a power unit control panel, the children tried themselves in the role of operating personnel. The instructors of the NPP training center helped them with this and told about the specifics of the work of leading reactor and turbine control engineers.
The excursion continued at the plant's production site. The Technopark students visited the building of the complete switchgear with SF6 insulation GIS-330 kV. The leading engineer of the electrical shop told about the operation of the first switchgear of this type in our energy system.
An extended program also awaited the youth in the turbine shop: the children "walked" through the turbine hall from minus 6 mark to plus 16 mark. Leading engineer of the turbine shop Viktor Andrievsky told about the equipment and answered issues exercising.
Traditionally, the final point of the program was a meeting with the CEO of the enterprise, Sergei Bobovich. The head of the enterprise reminded the students about the foundation day of Belarusian NPP, which the enterprise celebrated the day before, told the children about the role of Belarusian NPP in the country's economy, focused on approaches to the selection and training of personnel for the nuclear power plant, gave the younger generation valuable advice and parting words in anticipation of choosing a professional path in the energy sector, and spoke about his own work experience, including as a manager. After the end of the "protocol" part of the conversation with the Technopark students, Sergei Bobovich invited the children to his office. The invitation was gratefully accepted by the young guests of Belarusian NPP.
