Its purpose was to draw attention to the needs of those children who, by the will of fate, were deprived of both parental attention and basic material benefits.
For two weeks, NPP employees voluntarily, with the best of intentions, at the behest of their hearts, collected funds for the needs of two educational institutions in Ostrovets district: the social and pedagogical center in Vornany agro-town, where children temporarily removed from socially dangerous families are under the care of the state, and Ostrovets district center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation.
In order to share a piece of their hearts with the children, today representatives of Belarusian NPP, members of the Belaya Rus party, the Belarusian Union of Women, and the enterprise’s trade union committee visited Vorniany.
There are currently ten children in the shelter, eight of whom will be back at Vornyany Secondary School on September 1st.
As gifts for the children, the volunteers brought school uniforms and shoes, tracksuits, and also supplemented their gifts with sweet treats.
On September 2, 2024, the nuclear scientists will go to their charges in Ostrovets.
