At the information center, the participants of the event received a warm welcome from representatives of the management of Ostrovets district and the nuclear power plant, as well as a fascinating excursion into the world of nuclear technology and the history of the creation of the first nuclear power plant in Belarus.
Young people got acquainted with the most important production and technological processes at the plant, learned about the fuel cycle and fuel assemblies for the NPP, and became convinced of the safety and reliability of Belarusian NPP.
Project “Road train#Belarus. Youth. Creation" started on September 15 and includes a week-long auto tour of the cities of Belarus and significant historical, cultural and industrial sites. A visit to Belarusian NPP is just one point in the busy program of the project, but the most striking and memorable, according to the young people.
