The festive program started with a solemn procession, which was attended by representatives of enterprises and organizations of Ostrovets region, military units and units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stationed in Ostrovets, public associations.
The events continued with a meeting at the monument to Soviet soldiers and partisans. Representatives of state enterprise "Belarusian NPP" headed by General Director M. Filimonov also took part in the celebrations and laid flowers at the monument from the nuclear power plant staff.
The festive day turned out to be very busy: the work of outdoor playgrounds, field kitchen, demonstration of equipment, concert programs of various groups - all this created a special atmosphere of celebration.
The culmination of the holiday was the republican patriotic campaign "Let's Sing the Anthem Together" with the participation of the youth of the BelNPP.
The event ended with fireworks and a disco.
