The competitions of the sanitary teams were held on June 17, 2022 on the basis of the tactical training ground of the fire emergency rescue team of Grodno Oblast Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The winners of the regional stages from various enterprises and organizations of Grodno oblast took part in the championship.
The competition were sponsored by the oblast department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Main Department of Health of the oblast executive committee and Grodno Oblast Voluntary Fire Society.
17 teams took part in the competition among the sanitary squads.
The participants had to overcome 5 stages, where they demonstrated the ability to provide various types of first aid to the victims.
The judges checked the service equipment of the sanitary squad, the ability to quickly put on a gas mask for themselves and the victim, the work of the squad in the focus of combined damage, chemical damage and in the focus of an infectious disease. Commanders were tested.
This year, the task was further complicated by the fact that it was necessary to show all your skills as quickly as possible, while not making mistakes in the sequence of assistance.
The result of the competition was the sum of the places taken at all stages of the competition. The team of Belarusian NPP took 3 prizes out of 6 possible:
1st place - in the work of the squad in the focus of an infectious disease.
3rd place - in the display of service equipment and putting on gas masks.
3rd place - for the work of the squad in the focus of combined damage.
In terms of the total number of places taken, the sanitary squad of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant showed a high result, taking the second place in the team!
