On July 12, at 12.57, Unit 1 of the Belarusian NPP was disconnected from the grid by automated generator protection.
In accordance with the routine procedure, the power capacity of the reactor plant was derated.
The radiation situation at the NPP and in the radiation control area did not change.
The reasons for the shutdown of the generator are being determined. After their elimination, the power unit will be put into operation.
