The spillage phase was carried out in order to check the permeability of the pipelines connecting the primary circuit equipment and their post-assembly cleaning from possible mechanical impurities. During the process, chemically demineralized water was spilled in the system of emergency cooling of the core and pressure compensator, cleaned the pipelines of the purge-make-up system, and flushed the equipment and pipelines of the system of emergency and planned cooling down, passive heat removal system from the core. In total, the process involved 26 technological systems associated with the first circuit.
