Stable economic growth of the country is ensured first of all by its energy security - and it is natural that the parliamentarians in Ostrovets were interested primarily in the construction of Belarusian NPP, its safety, the timing of commissioning, the projected price of energy. During the excursion to the information center of the NPP, the construction site of the NPP, the training center, members of the Council of the Republic could obtain exhaustive information on issues of interest to them.
The meeting of the Council for Interaction of Local Self-Government Bodies was attended by not only the members of the Council of the Republic of Grodno and Brest oblasts, but also members of the government or their deputies, as well as the chairmen of the region councils of deputies of all districts of Grodno and Brest oblasts.
