The forum will be traditionally attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. The stand of BelNPP will demonstrate the progress of the project on the construction of the station in Ostrovets.
The key topic of Atomexpo this year will be "Global partnership - common success." The three-day business program of the jubilee forum includes more than 20 events - plenary and panel discussions, round tables, presentations. In particular, the round table "Development of competencies for newcomer states and states expanding nuclear power programs" will consider the experience of developing nuclear infrastructure in the UAE and Belarus; IAEA experience related to nuclear infrastructure assessment missions; as well as a number of issues that states face when establishing regulatory bodies.
For the first time the forum will present ATOMEXPO AWARDS - an international professional award for the outstanding services of the world industry companies that made a significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry. The competition of projects of companies participating in Atomexpo forums (in 2009-2018) is held in five categories: Best Start, Atomic Technologies for Improving the Quality of Life, Innovation for the Future, Public Acceptability, Development of Human Capital ". Applications for the competition were submitted by companies from 22 countries, including Belarus.
International forum Atomexpo has been held since 2009 on the initiative of Rosatom State Corporation. Over the past years, the events of the forum were attended by about 38.000 people from 83 countries. 987 companies presented their exhibition expositions.
