“The BelNPP construction process is regularly covered in the media. We did not deny access for any media representative to the plant or the corresponding information about it,” Mikhail Mikhadyuk stressed. Since the nuclear power plant is a restricted access facility, the corresponding application is needed to get permission to visit it. In 2015 over 70 delegations visited the BelNPP construction site. Dozens of visits to the facility have been organized this year.
“We are open to the dialogue and provide all necessary information about the project on a regular basis. We have invited Lithuania to visit the site numerous times,” the deputy minister said.
“Information is regularly updated,” Mikhail Mikhadyuk added.
