Written by Department of Information and Public Relations

On September 25, a peer review conducted by Moscow Center of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO-MC) concluded at Atomflot facility in Murmansk. The international team included Sergey Kravtsov, Head of the Operations Personnel Training Department at Belarusian NPP.

Over the course of two weeks, an international team comprising 15 experts from Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria, and China assessed safety and operational quality within the nuclear icebreaker fleet. The specialists conducted a comprehensive review of day-to-day operations by personnel on the nuclear-powered vessels and at shore-based facilities, analyzed operational documentation, and held a series of interviews with the enterprise's management.

"The participation of BelNPP specialists in WANO expert missions facilitates the active exchange of global operational experience and the strengthening of international nuclear safety," noted Sergey Kravtsov.
